Eva Jordan, EIT

Engineer in Training

Eva grew up on a farm in Virginia’s Appalachian foothills, where land stewardship was a part of daily life. That early connection to working landscapes, combined with a fascination with how things work, led her to study civil and environmental engineering. Her academic path included fieldwork in Madagascar and Panama, where she explored restoration challenges in tropical and coastal systems and developed a model linking wave energy to mangrove seedling die-offs.

Since joining Inter-Fluve’s Hood River office in 2024, Eva has jumped into hydrology, hydraulics, project coordination, and engineering design. She has already contributed to a variety of restoration work and finds herself especially drawn to projects such as wetlands and estuaries that combine ecological richness with human use. Outside of work, Eva enjoys hiking, backpacking, herping, and playing Ultimate.
