Liz Pratt, PE

Water Resources Engineer

Liz grew up in Virginia, but she traces her love for the outdoors to family trips to Lake George in the Adirondacks. She attended Virginia Tech’s Biological Systems Engineering program, intrigued by the possibility of combining her passion for the outdoors with her interest in applied engineering.

Liz began her career with Wyoming Game and Fish, performing spatial data analysis and projecting flow conditions to support cutthroat trout populations. She deepened this in-stream experience through later roles, including stream and habitat assessments and fish passage analysis work in the mid-Atlantic and Oregon. Liz joined Inter-Fluve in 2025, relocating to our Cambridge, Massachusetts office in the thick of her first New England winter. She’s excited to apply her background to the region’s streams, bogs, and dams—and to explore its vibrant offerings in art, music, and the outdoors. Outside of work, Liz plays the flute and enjoys running, hiking, camping, and skiing.
