Nick Jordan, PE

Water Resources Engineer

Born and raised in southeastern Wisconsin, Nick is a water resources engineer with experience measuring, assessing, and designing in fluvial and coastal systems across the country. Nick is based in our Madison, Wisconsin office. his day-to-day work is varied: in-field data collection, fluvial geomorphic assessment, dam removal assessment, hydrologic analysis, hydraulic and hydrodynamic modeling, engineered wood design, fish passage design, construction oversight, and project management.

Nick is also currently assisting with design on several urban channel restoration projects within the Kinnickinnic River Watershed, and is managing stream daylighting, fish habitat rehabilitation, and channel remeander projects throughout the upper Midwest. Nick obtained his BS and MS from UW-Madison, where his research extensively documented historical geomorphic evolution adjacent to engineered structures on Wisconsin’s Great Lakes coasts. When he’s not at work, Nick spends time with his friends and family and likes to “stay moving,” he says, running, skiing, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and riding bikes.
